Matthews Church of Christ
The Matthews church of Christ is a small, friendly congregation, active in the work of
the Lord. We currently support the preaching of the gospel in Brazil;
the Gospel Broadcasting Network; and the television program, "A Bible Answer";.
Our
worship service is simple and is conducted according to the Bible. When
you visit you will notice that we partake of the Lord's Supper every Sunday; we
sing songs without the use of mechanical instruments; we hear a message from God's
word; we give as we have prospered (as a visitor you will not be personally
asked and i is entirely your choice if you give an offering or not.); both in
class and in lessons spoken by our minister the truth is spoken including the
necessity for one to hear the word, believe the word, confess that Jesus Christ
is the son of God, be baptized for the remissions of sins, and to live an obedient
life after baptism to be saved.
We hope that if you have
